Mrs. Alicia Arrington – Math Instructor & Dyslexia Therapist-in-Training

Mrs. Alicia Arrington is excited to join the Bright Academy team, bringing with her a strong background in education and support services. She taught Special Education for 15 years in the public school system and also worked in medical billing and coding for five years. For the past eight years, she has served as a paraprofessional in a multi-handicapped, self-contained classroom in Baldwin County.

Mrs. Arrington is now expanding her professional journey by training to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist, furthering her commitment to supporting dyslexic learners with specialized instruction.

A lifelong resident of Baldwin County, she currently resides in Fairhope, Alabama. She is the proud mother of two children—her daughter is a sophomore at Jacksonville State University, and her son is a senior at Fairhope High School. She also enjoys spending time with her two beloved dogs, Cole, a 3-year-old black Shi-poo, and Olive, an 8-month-old black Cockapoo.

Mrs. Arrington is passionate about student growth and is looking forward to a wonderful year ahead at Bright Academy.
